Job description
- Designing and implementing database structures and schemas.
- Developing optimized queries and stored procedures.
- Developing and maintaining ETL processes for data extraction, transformation and loading.
- Configuring and managing database servers.
- Monitoring performance and optimizing database operations.
- Ensuring data availability and integrity.
- Providing support to users and developers in troubleshooting issues.
- Documenting database solutions and processes.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with database platforms such as Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Knowledge of various types of database models and their practical application.
- Experience with SAS Data integration Server or SAS programming language as an advantage.
- Understanding of DWH principles and technologies.
- Ability to configure and manage database servers and instances.
- Excellent problem-solving skill.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
