About the Data & AI Unit
Data & AI is one of Trask’s strategic core competencies and a key pillar of the company’s long‑term growth strategy. We support enterprise clients in building modern data platforms, advanced analytics and AI‑driven solutions with direct business impact.
The competence consists of two autonomous units with dedicated leadership and P&L responsibility:
- Data Science & AI - Focused on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI and advanced analytics.
- Data Warehousing & Data Platforms - Focused on enterprise data platforms, and DWH and BI solutions using technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory & Fabric.
Both units serve large enterprise clients across banking, automotive, manufacturing, and utilities.
Mission of the Role
As Data & AI Director, you will assume full leadership responsibility for the Data & AI competence across Trask.
Your mission is to:
- lead and grow the Data & AI business as an integrated, scalable offering
- sell and deliver Data & AI projects locally and globally
- drive financial performance across both units
- position Data & AI as a flagship service line within Trask
- act as a senior partner for clients and internal stakeholders
This is a director‑level role combining business leadership, consulting and delivery expertise and strong technology understanding.

Job description
- Lead two autonomous business units: Data Science & AI and Data Warehousing
- Manage and support two Senior Managers with full P&L responsibility
- Hold overall responsibility for P&L, budgeting, and financial performance
- Define and execute the long‑term Data & AI strategy
- Provide high‑level solutioning for Data Warehousing, AI, and GenAI engagements
- Act as senior advisor to C‑level client stakeholders on technology, as well as selected business and transformation topics
- Drive business development in close cooperation with Trask Sales
- Evangelize Data & AI solutions to clients and the market
- Represent Trask externally as the face of Data & AI, including Trask Future Insight
- Build, mentor, and lead senior managers, architects, and team leads
Required qualifications
- Senior leadership experience (Director / Senior Manager level) in consulting or IT services
- Proven track record of P&L ownership and business management
- Strong expertise in Data Warehousing and Data & AI solutions
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, including C‑level audiences
- Consulting mindset with strong problem‑solving and client advisory capabilities
- Demonstrated business development experience
- Fluent English & Czech
- Background from firms such as Big4, Accenture, Capgemini, or McKinsey is a strong advantage
