  • You will design the target architecture of key banking systems that will serve ČSOB for the next decade.
  • Your work will directly influence how new core systems, payment gateways, CRM, and surrounding applications are integrated.

Job description

  • Lead the design and architecture of core banking transformation solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology strategies.
  • Develop end-to-end architectural blueprints, including integration with existing systems, data flow, and technology stack.
  • Spearhead the transformation of legacy core systems to modern, scalable, and agile platforms.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in software design, development, and deployment.
  • Prepare and present architectural solutions, roadmaps, and progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, decisions, and project artifacts.

Required qualifications

Must-have

  • Experience in IT architecture with a focus on core banking systems and transformations.
  • Experience with cloud-based architectures, microservices, APIs, and integration technologies.
  • Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and tools.
  • Knowledge of UML, BPMN, and experience in Sparx Enterprise Architect.
  • Advanced English + advanced Czech or Slovak.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to align technology solutions with business goals.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Development background.
  • Kafka / event‑driven exposure.
