We are looking for a colleague who is not only capable of efficiently designing and implementing data solutions (DWH, Data lake, data analytics platforms) but also understanding and responding to customer needs from a business perspective. A colleague who plays a key role in the development and implementation of data solutions for clients, designs and manages data architecture and development, but also closely collaborates with business teams and clients to understand their needs and ensure that the chosen solution fully supports the business strategy. At the same time, the colleague has a broad overview of data processing and is able to present at professional seminars for clients.

• Designing architecture for extensive data solutions, actively participating in project delivery.
• Collaborating with the Data Director to define architecture and strategy for the data department.
• Communicating with clients, contributing to presentations, providing expertise in analysis and solution concept design for specific clients.
• Offering consulting services to clients regarding the efficient utilization of BI tools.
• Taking responsibility for delivering technologies and implementing the final solution.
• Integrating data across different environments and technologies.
• Developing and maintaining DWH methodology and guiding other developers, data analysts in architecture, design, and implementation of solutions.
• Participating in corporate presentations, workshops, conferences.
• Leading discussions on technological plans and data infrastructure, platforms, and standards.
• Identifying opportunities for new architectural initiatives.
• Providing advice on the use of Business Intelligence both internally and externally to the company.

• University education and a minimum of 8 years of experience in DWH, data lake, BI, or other data tools in the position of architect or consultant.
• Excellent knowledge and experience with data solutions and the ability to effectively translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Experience in evaluating the advantages of various technological solutions.
• Experience in designing and implementing data architecture.
• Experience in project pricing based on customer requirements.
• Experience in leading IT projects from A to Z, ability to effectively manage time within projects.
• Proactivity, independence, structured, and reliable personality.
• Ability to create and identify new opportunities, grasp them commercially, and also understand delivery contexts very well.
• Very good communication skills in both Czech and English.
• Experience in leading smaller teams is an advantage.
• Presentation skills - participation in conferences, workshops, colleague training.
• Ability to bring innovative ideas to the team and clients, keeping track of technological advancements.
• Knowledge of SQL programming and procedural extensions, familiarity with development environments. Knowledge of Python, Java, or Scala is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Apache technologies for data (NiFi, Flink, Spark, Kafka, HBase, Solr, Kudu, HDFS, Hive, Iceberg, Impala, Airflow, Atlas).
• Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of reporting tools: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik.
• Knowledge of ETL tools: MS SSIS, Informatica, Talend, ODI.
• Knowledge of relational databases: Oracle, Teradata, MSSQL.
• Knowledge of data platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, Cloudera, Dremio.
• Knowledge of security standards.
• Knowledge of cloud platform components AWS, Azure in terms of infrastructure setup and data processing is a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of specific financial institution aspects in terms of IT environments, methodologies, regulations is an advantage.
• Experience in leading smaller teams is an advantage.
• Knowledge of a business domain (banking, energy, engineering) is advantageous.
