Job description
- Develop and enhance existing actuarial and accounting SAS software focused on IFRS 17.
- Apply mathematical techniques and advanced programming skills in SAS to solve complex actuarial problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with other business systems.
- Conduct data analysis and management using SQL and other relevant tools.
- Ensure software compliance with IFRS 17 standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide operations support and training to clients and team members.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in actuarial software and IFRS 17 regulations.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in programming, SAS language preferred.
- Strong foundation in data management and SQL.
- Knowledge of IFRS 17 standards and their application in software development also an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
