Senior Financial Accountant

We’re looking for an accountant who wants to understand what’s really happening behind the numbers.

At Trask, you’ll join our Finance & Controlling team and take care of accounting for our Czech entities and, to some extent, our international entities as well.

A large part of our work is connected to IT and consulting projects, so you won’t just be processing documents. You’ll work with the business, our Delivery team and colleagues across different countries.

You’ll have your own agenda and the freedom to work independently. At the same time, you’ll have an experienced team around you whenever you need support.

• process incoming and outgoing invoices, payments and other accounting transactions
• account for employee expenses and business travel
• work with revenues and costs related to IT and consulting projects
• prepare VAT documentation
• support monthly and annual closing
• prepare documentation for audits, controlling and internal reporting
• communicate with colleagues across Finance, Delivery and other parts of the business
• gradually take ownership of your own accounting agenda

We’re looking for someone who already knows accounting and can manage their work independently.

Ideally, you have:

• at least 2 years of accounting experience
• experience with a broader range of accounting activities and financial closing
• a good understanding of accounting principles
• good Excel skills
• the ability to communicate in Czech and English
• experience from IT, consulting, audit or another Professional Services environment is an advantage
• experience with Solitea Byznys is an advantage
• German is a plus
