Project Delivery Advisor
Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a senior project management person to build, lead, and audit our Project Management Competency and bring structure, transparency, and control to a portfolio of roughly 1,000 parallel projects.
This role is for someone who:
- Has real, hands-on experience with complex delivery in SW/SI/IT consulting environments.
- Knows how to merge methodology, governance, and practical delivery – without turning the organization into a bureaucracy.
- Wants a real mandate and executive support to drive meaningful change.
- Welcomes a single-contribution role that will work across all delivery units in Trask (more than 15)
The Challenge & Mission
- We need to review our Project Methodology and ensure we deliver the project in accordance with it.
- Bring Control to ~1,000 parallel Projects - we run a massive, diverse project portfolio - create a system for building true visibility into what’s happening, where issues lie, and how to catch risks early.
- Unify Fragmented Delivery Practices - Your job is to create one consistent delivery system across Trask – without slowing down the business or killing agility.
- Drive Adoption with Authority - our COO is clear: this role needs someone with drive and personal authority. You will need to challenge habits, enforce standards, and lead behavioral change across delivery teams – backed by full executive support.
- Make QA a Standard, Not an Exception - You’ll own ongoing QA across projects, setting up structured health checks and project audits. Transform QA from a reactive task into a proactive, value-driving discipline.
