Job description
We are looking for a Database Specialist with strong expertise in working with databases across different platforms (e.g., MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle). You will be responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of database systems, troubleshooting performance issues, modifying database objects, handling data migrations, and creating ad hoc SQL queries. In addition to database administration, you should also be able to work as part of a development team.

Job description
- Administration and support of databases across various types and platforms
- Database performance optimization and troubleshooting performance issues
- Creation and modification of database objects (tables, views, procedures, etc.)
- Database migrations between environments
- Development of ad hoc SQL queries and scripts (T-SQL, PL/SQL a plus)
- Analysis and resolution of issues within IT infrastructure
- Collaboration with teams across IT departments
Required qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and T-SQL
- Experience with database platforms (e.g., MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure environment (e.g., Azure SQL, Data Factory, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Familiarity with other cloud environments (especially AWS)
- Knowledge of GIT, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
- Ability to independently analyze and resolve technical issues
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting IT infrastructure
- Advantage experience with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
- English and Czech at a communicative level
