Mission:
Senior Manager, Cloud Native Development will build and lead cloud-native development competency. This role requires a blend of managerial acumen, technical expertise, and business insight to effectively guide teams, foster collaboration, and drive innovation in cloud technologies.
First goals:
- Create the future structure of the team and start hiring
- Identify business opportunities within Trask's current client portfolio and how we want to utilize them
- Set the cooperation with existing AWS and Azure teams in Trask
- Prepare the growth strategy for new cloud-native development competency (P&L, clients, business offering, quick wins, etc)

Job description
1. Leadership & Management:
- Build and lead a team of cloud-native developers and engineers.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Define team objectives and key performance indicators, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
2. Technical Expertise:
- Implement/help to implement best practices in cloud-native development, architecture, and deployment.
- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native applications.
- Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends to incorporate into development strategies.
3. Business Development:
- Collaborate with business development teams to identify new market opportunities and client needs.
- Develop proposals and architecture solutions that demonstrate value to clients.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to drive cloud solutions adoption.
4. Project Management:
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and budgets effectively.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Communicate regular updates to senior management and stakeholders regarding project status and outcomes.
Required qualifications
- Knowledgeable in cloud-native development, transformation, and migration offerings across key cloud platforms (Azure and AWS)
- Experience leading cloud transformation projects and managing client relationships
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at senior levels
- Demonstrated ability to align technology strategies with business objectives and drive actionable outcomes
- Good presentation skills
- Fluent English
- Proven track of leading a technical team
You have a technical knowledge of:
- One of these programming languages: Python, Go, Javascript, F#, C#
- Kubernetes
- Serverless Architecture/Cloud Architecture
- CI/CD Tools (Azure DevOps, Github Actions)
- Infrastructure as a Code (e.g. Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
- Database design
