AI Lead

We are looking for an AI lead to join our team of senior colleagues in the field of AI. We welcome someone who would support AI proposals for innovative solutions for our customers and take ownership of some projects.

We are looking for someone who can design concepts and architecture and develop designs into detailed components, while also managing the delivery of AI based solutions. Communication skills, working with people, and motivating team members to deliver perfect results are important to us.

About our team:

The AI team (formerly Data Science) focuses on artificial intelligence (AI), data science, machine learning, and advanced analytics. Our team currently consists of 30 members.

We work on various Agentic AI solutions, including our own agentic development platform with custom knowledge base, harnesses and agent skills. In large companies, we participate in the implementation of AI platforms, build or are part of AI competence centers, and focus on AI governance and secure AI environments.

Over the past year, we have produced several bespoke agents, currently have 11 in our portfolio, mainly for finance and insurance sectors. We are now focusing on fully autonomous (level 4) agentic development.

In the automotive industry, we deliver highly sophisticated optimization tasks in the form of recommendation engines.

Technologically, we mainly operate on Azure and AWS clouds, occasionally GCP.

We primarily use Python as our programming language.

We really enjoy creating solutions in Databricks, but we also use Azure AI Foundry, Langfuse, Langchain, etc.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the analysis, design, architecture, governance and development of AI solutions.
• Be a key partner for both the client and our internal team.
• Shape and implement new Agentic AI features with the team.
• Lead the development and deployment of modern AI solutions in a production environment and set-up the governance and AI Ops.
• Mentor team members and support their growth (both technical and soft skills).
• Actively contribute to core development efforts.
• Collaboration with experts in the field of security, data engineering and software development.
• Participation in the strategy for the development of AI within Trask.
• Participate in workshops and conferences for professionals.

Who We're Looking For:

• A senior AI specialist with proven experience in AI architecture and advanced leadership skills.
• Proven experience in team leadership and AI project management.
• Experience with IT architecture, AI governance and AI security.
• Passion for AI innovations.
• A natural need to mentor junior colleagues and build strong technical teams.
• Solid knowledge of AI, cloud, and data science.
• Python skills needed, Databricks expected.
• Responsibility for deliveries to various customers in different domains (energy, automotive, banking, …) and areas (back office, marketing & CRM, risk, …).
• Fluent in English, capable of professional-level communication.
• Ability to speak publicly in front of people and captivate them.
• An advantage is experience:
• with Agentic development, harnesses, LLMs, Context management, voicebots, speech-to-text,
• in automotive, energy or finance.
