Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance & Controlling team – someone who will take ownership of the accounting agenda for selected entities within the group, ensure reporting from international subsidiaries and act as a reliable partner to management and external accounting firms. If you are confident in accounting standards, detail-oriented and comfortable working in an international environment, we would be happy to hear from you.

• Processing accounting documents (invoices, cash transactions, bank statements, internal documents, domestic and international travel expenses).
• Preparing VAT documentation, including VAT returns, control statements and EC sales lists.
• Managing international payments and preparing data for group consolidation.
• Reporting accounting data from foreign subsidiaries and communicating with local accounting providers.
• Gradually taking over full accounting responsibility for one of the group entities.
• Cooperating closely with Controlling, Reporting, Management and external auditors.

• Secondary education in economics/accounting (university degree is an advantage).
• Proven experience in accounting, ideally within a multi-entity or group environment.
• Experience with independent management of accounting agenda; knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP is an advantage.
• Strong MS Office skills (advanced Excel); experience with Byznys accounting system is a plus.
• Ability to communicate in English (daily communication with foreign subsidiaries).
• Accuracy, independence, sense of responsibility and strong attention to detail.
