As our cybersecurity team continues to grow, we are looking for a Security Consultant who is comfortable operating across both GRC consulting and technical security delivery.

Security Consultant (m/f)
This role is designed for a consultant who can move seamlessly between advisory and implementation work. You will work with clients on governance, risk, and compliance topics while also leading or contributing to security technology implementations.
Our goal is to build a high-impact, versatile consultant who can deliver value across different project types and remain engaged regardless of whether the current focus is GRC or technical security.
Your Mission:
As a Security Consultant, you will gradually grow into a senior team member who can:
- Lead and deliver cybersecurity projects end-to-end
- Act as a trusted advisor in Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Design and implement security technologies and architectures
- Contribute to the evolution of Trask’s cybersecurity portfolio

Job description
Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
- Act as a trusted advisor for clients in security governance, risk management, and compliance.
- Lead or support IT risk assessments, security maturity assessments, and audit remediation activities.
- Design and implement governance frameworks, security policies, and operating models.
- Support compliance initiatives and audits aligned with standards and regulations such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIS2, SOX, and similar frameworks.
- Translate regulatory and risk requirements into practical, implementable security solutions.
Security Technology & Implementation
- Design, deploy, and optimize security solutions across client environments
- Actively contribute to security architecture design and solution selection
- Lead or support security implementation projects, in one or more areas of our Security Offering (mentioned above)
- Bridge the gap between GRC requirements and technical implementation
Consulting & Project Delivery
- Manage or support security projects from assessment through implementation
- Work closely with clients to understand business needs and translate them into security solutions
- Participate in RFP preparation and solution design for local and international clients
- Collaborate with internal teams across Trask’s industry practices (FSI, Telco/Utilities, Automotive/Manufacturing)
Required qualifications
Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in security consulting, GRC, or technical security roles
- Demonstrated exposure to both:
- Governance, Risk & Compliance consulting
- Hands-on security technology implementation
Technical & Domain Knowledge
- Solid understanding of at least one or more of the following:
- IAM and identity security
- Cloud security (preferably Microsoft ecosystem)
- Endpoint and identity protection
- Security architecture and integration - Ability to translate risk and compliance requirements into technical solutions
Certifications (Nice to Have)
- ISO/IEC 27001, CISM, CISSP, SC-series, AZ-series, or similar certifications are a strong advantage
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Consulting mindset with the ability to explain why, not just how
- Structured thinking, ownership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
